New Patients

familyWELCOME to the dental practice of Lisa K Frost DDS LLC. We are looking forward to seeing you. Your appointment is very important to us. First, we'd like to get to know you. We will also review your medical history, record your current dental status and obtain necessary diagnostic x-rays along with other important steps so we can present to you a recommended plan of treatment. We would like to offer you a greater understanding of your current dental condition and at the same time achieve our ultimate objective of giving you the healthy, comfortable, beautiful smile you deserve. Accomplishments of this nature take time, that is why your appointment time is very important to us so please let us know of any schedule changes that may effect this goal.

Our practice provides the full range of dental services needed to achieve optimal dental health, including preventive, diagnostic, restorative, therapeutic, and cosmetic services. We refer to excellent specialists as needed.

Now more than ever we can diagnose and treat dental disease earlier. However, if possible, we want you to keep your teeth forever or replace them when needed. Dental infection affects the entire body and that is why we believe routine preventive care is a must.

In closing, we will do everything in our power to make your dental experience a positive, pleasant and comfortable one.

FINANCIAL GUIDELINES
Patients are expected to pay fully for their treatment or their insurance co-payment at the time of treatment. If this is prohibitive for the improvement of their dental health, a financial arrangement must be arranged in advance with our Business Administrator.

The financial obligation for any dental treatment belongs to the patient. However, we help our patients understand the parameters of the insurance companies that they receive benefits from, provide an estimate of the cost of future treatment before it is begun, and will file any insurance claims for the convenience of our patients. We will do everything we can to help patients receive the maximum benefit from any dental insurance coverage that helps to pay for their dental care.

DENTAL X-RAYS
Dental radiographs (x-rays) are essential, preventative, diagnostic tools that provide valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. Dentists and dental hygienists use this information to safely and accurately detect hidden dental abnormalities and complete an accurate treatment plan. Without x-rays, problem areas may go undetected.

COMPREHENSIVE EXAM
A comprehensive exam is a thorough evaluation and recording of the condition and function of all oral structures including jaw joints, muscles, jaw bone, gums, teeth and cancer exam. A full series of photos and x-rays will be taken for accurate diagnosis. Any disease, infection or dysfunction will be diagnosed and options for treatment proposed. We will also evaluate how you clean your teeth and gums and discuss habits that contribute to dental problems.
